This lovingly restored ring seems to have had many lives. What started out as a clasp has now become a very striking yet subtle statement ring. It looks modern yet has a reference to something very old. I incorporated the slide onto the top of an antique 14KT rose gold shank and added a border of twisted 14KT Gold wire at the top to give it one more touch of detail. The central foil backed garnet is collet set and sits nice and flush at the top and is surrounded by a halo of white creamy seed pearls. The setting is east to west which also gives it a different character. Currently a size 6 but can be easily resized. Very smooth and comfortable to wear. Great on any finger. Not marked but tests 14KT
