An exquisite example of Victorian craftsmanship at its best. This pretty ring started its life as a clasp for a bracelet but with the bracelet no longer wearable it was time to make this enamel and diamond star into something else! The central cobalt blue enamel star is set with an Old Euro diamond (approx. .20Cts) on a gold round tablet surrounded by a rope wire edge. 11mm in diameter. I've added a simple rounded 14KT wire shank to finish off this beautiful ring. Interesting to see how beautiful the reverse of the ring is as well. An openwork floral gives it a lovely finishing touch. Size 6 but can be easily resized.
