Diamond Open Buckle Necklace
Diamond Open Buckle Necklace
This exquisitely rendered necklace is an exceptional example of craftsmanship and artistry. Starting it's life as an Edwardian belt buckle, this necklace came into its own as a show stopper of a necklace that softly graces the neck in a subtle but sparkling way. As a belt buckle it was beautiful but not terribly practical. As a necklace it has infinitely more possibility. The delicate scallops were once the hinge points for the buckle and the double drop diamonds are the perfect center point for the piece. The diamond drops were originally part of a brooch that complement the piece perfectly. The white gold chain that connects the piece is also dotted with diamonds for extra sparkle toward the sides and back. Set in 18 kt. white and yellow gold with just under 3 carats of Old European and Old Mine cut diamonds this necklace is a dazzler. An independent appraisal accompanies this necklace at purchase.
