The head and tail face one another and wraps gently around the face of the locket. Opens and closes with a nice snap from the left hand side there are 2 intact compartments for photos or keepsakes. Symbolic of fertility and also healing, medicine and power. Such a powerful force and one that also has such beauty. Slight dimpling on the reverse of the locket which is commensurate with age but in no way deters from the beauty of the piece. 18KT not marked but tested. 14.7 grams.
