I'm always on the lookout for exceptional pieces of craftsmanship and detail. This pendant does not disappoint! At one point in time this pendant was a brooch but it has been seamlessly transformed. The symbol of caduceus is the magic wand carried by Hermes. Long known as the symbol of healing used by medical corps and associations. With entwining snakes set with seed pearls and cabochon ruby eyes surmounted at the top are red enamel wings detailed with gold line feathers. At the base and top of the staff are creamy white seed pearls. No detail was missed. This little work of art is in pristine condition and would be perfect for someone in the medical profession. Not marked but tested 18KT Gold. 42mm height from top of bale to bottom of pearl. 24mm wide at its widest point. Chain may be purchased separately.
