A perfect reflection of Victorian jewelry. This richly decorated bangle has a central motif of a mounded friendship knot that is set with a vibrant round cabochon opal and further detailed on either side of the center with 2 oval bezel set cabochon opals that delight with their play of color. The intertwined wire of the bangle continues on either side of the central motif. Typical of the period this bangle is hollow and rounded and tubular. It is in good condition but does have a couple of soft dimples on the bottom and sides. I have recently polished the bracelet and the signs of wear are not intrusive to the look. 9.0 Grams 9KT. English in origin. Marked 9CT. Interior circumference 6.5 inches. Suitable for a small wrist. Slide clasp is tight with a safety chain for extra security.
